Super League returns for its 13th season this year with Leeds Rhinos as reigning champions. This Super League season is shaping up to be the most competitive and exciting in its history. Come Grand Final night, who will be taking home the trophy and the title of Super League Champions 2008?

Castleford were champions in 2007, following a two horse race. This season should see a much more hard fought and open campaign than for many a year, as a host of sides have strengthened their squads in the close season. Celtic Crusaders, Leigh Centurions, Halifax, Salford City Reds, Whitehaven and Widnes Vikings are all in with a shout. It should be a cracker!

Celtic Crusaders won promotion to NL1 as outright winners of NL2 in 2007. They were joined by Featherstone Rovers, who beat Oldham in the NL2 Play Off Final. Barrow and Oldham made up the top four teams in the division and these two, together with relegated Rochdale Hornets and Doncaster, will be favourites for promotion in 2008. There's usually a dark horse, but which team will it be in 2008?
